Measured Survey Abney Park Cemetery
Project Summary
Abney Park Cemetery is a garden cemetery, woodland memorial and local nature reserve managed by The London Borough of Hackney. A restoration project is underway to bring new community space, boost biodiversity and restore the listed chapel. To support the improvement plans Kaner Ollette Architects instructed us to carry out measured surveys of the site.
Survey Brief
A topographical survey of the site was produced showing all landscape features, the trees and the densely packed grave positions. A series of elevations were produced around the park entrances as well as detailed floor plans and internal elevations within the chapel building to aid the restoration process.
