Testimonials
Heres what our valued customers have had to say...
Thanks for undertaking this work for us. We are really impressed with the quality of the model, particularly the ease of use as a Revit model.
The survey and drawings are excellent as per usual.
Terrain’s 3D models are very accurate and they also supplied high quality 2D drawings. The Revit model will give the council a record which they can view at any time, so they will no longer need to revisit the site to take measurements. We are delighted with the quality of the surveying work on this major project.
We have worked with Terrain Surveys on many projects and they have always been responsive and customer focused, as well as producing high quality drawings and 3D models. We required a high level of accuracy for the scanning work at St. Vedast church, so immediately thought of Terrain.
Thanks again for all your hard work on the project, you have been great to work with and I wouldn’t hesitate in asking you to quote for further work or recommending you to others in the team.
The recent survey completed at Abney Park Cemetery was fantastic, being carried out by the best surveying company in the south-east.
Terrain Surveys Ltd. have recently completed a dimensional survey of the Roman Catholic Church of St.Mary, Cadogan Street, Chelsea. The survey provides accurate and detailed information for our practice to commence design work to enhance this historic church building. Terrain provided an efficient service for an economic price, with very little interruption to the life of the church during the site survey period.
The drawings are great, just what we needed. More detailed than we usually get.
‘Very happy with the Revit model, exactly what they were looking for.’
Happy with drawings, look very thorough and exactly what we wanted.
Mace acting on behalf of Marks & Spencer invited Terrain Surveys to provide Dimensional Building surveys of several existing stores. These Surveys were required by a number of architects and designers as part of their extensive remodelling program.
All the surveys Terrain were asked to do were carried out efficiently and professionally by their surveyors, so as to cause the minimum disruption, often working while the stores were open to the public. The plans supplied were of a high standard of presentation and contained all the information we required.
After working with Terrain Surveys, we would certainly have no hesitation in inviting them to tender for any future projects where an initial Dimensional survey is required.
Just a quick note to record my thanks for the recent work you carried out at the Geffrye Museum. As always your prompt response and helpful approach to carrying out the work was greatly appreciated by both ourselves and the client team on site.
These look fantastic. What an excellent piece of work!
Terrain Surveys were highly responsive in supplying the point cloud and 3D model. The model was crucial to our being able to design and have accurately fabricated the steel frame. The building was twisted in plan and section and the 3D model allowed us produce shop drawings, so that when the steel arrived it fitted to within 5mm across the building and side to side. As the building is on a London Red Route it was crucial that the new steel could be fitted first time without any site amendments.
We recently commissioned Terrain Surveys to comprehensively survey a complex group of grade II* listed religious buildings designed by the Victorian architect G.E. Street, and the surrounding landscape. Clearly we required a very high degree of accuracy and careful attention to detail to support what will inevitably prove to be a difficult application for planning approval I have to say that we were delighted with the finished result. The survey was tremendously accurate, clear, well organised and thorough. It was also beautifully drawn and gave a true sense of the quality of the buildings that the drawings described.
Following a competitive quotation procedure, Ealing Council employed Terrain Surveys to carry out a number of Topographical and Measured Building surveys required as part of their Building Schools for the Future project. These surveys were carried out in a professional and diligent manner. The information supplied was of a high standard and we would have no hesitation in requesting them to tender for any future related work.
Happy with the work carried out, and given the competitive quote and speed the work was completed I won’t hesitate to include you in any future tender opportunities.
Terrain Surveys were highly responsive in carrying out a survey of the wall around Rectory Lane Cemetery. Prior contact had been made with neighbours to arrange access and the surveyors were very friendly and polite when working on site. We were able to review the A0 sized drawings and use TrueView to inspect the 3D model, which has been invaluable for briefing restoration contractors.
Terrain Surveys provided a responsive and competitively priced service. I was particularly impressed by their willingness to be proactive in discussions with the Local Authority and with their technically excellent input and assistance we were able to resolve a complex land remediation problem to the complete satisfaction of both the local authority and the client. I would not hesitate to recommend their services to other clients in similar situations and indeed my client will be calling on Terrain Surveys’ expertise again in order to demonstrate to the Local Authority that the re-graded land profile matches the proposed profile prepared by Terrain for my client’s planning application to meet County and District planning requirements and to resolve my client’s waterlogging and drainage problems.
‘Absolutely spot on, very pleased with quick turnaround, the drawings look cracking. Look forward to working with us on other projects’
This is exactly what we require in order to try to have some kind of sensible conversations with our neighbours; hopefully we shall be able to come to some agreement without resorting to legal proceedings. Meanwhile, we should like to thank you for your speedy response to our request for a survey, your even speedier completion of the results and your helpful interpretation of those results for us in layman’s terms. If ever we have the opportunity to recommend your firm, we shall be very pleased to do so.
John and his company provide me with first class surveying skills and results. Terrain are always good value and accurate in their work, and are always approachable.
We used Terrain on a very complicated quarry infill project, the site was covered with stockpiles and we needed to carry our a series of volume calculations to assess the materials still to be excavated, the material types in the different stockpiles and the void available for infilling. This was no problem for Neil and his team, responded to initial enquiry within the day, very fair price for an excellent job, great communications, very quick turnaround and no issues when we added to scope of works – highly professional and friendly company very happy to recommend to anyone.
Terrain Surveys is my surveyor of choice. They are reliable, friendly and quick to respond to enquiries. The data we receive is exactly what we need to start designing our gardens in both 2D and 3D. I highly recommend them.
I would like to give a special thank you to the utility survey team who worked on our project. They were a pleasure to have on site and they managed to prevent a near miss becoming a very unsavoury incident. The issues your team identified wouldn’t ordinarily be shown on the utility report and we really appreciate them going above and beyond to communicate their findings, which if gone unnoticed could have derailed our project further down the line.
We'd love to hear from you
